1000 steps, 2000 steps.... 
We had to get our coupon stamped at each 1,000 steps checkpoint. There was a stampede (STAMP-ede geddit?) at each checkpoint counter. People where seen pushing, shoving, sweating and shouting. Everybody wanted to get ahead and nobody wanted to queue up like civilized citizen. I had to join the crowd or else I would be left behind. You got to join them to beat them. Heheh!
