The Storm Warriors (風雲II) - Aaron Kwok (郭富城) & Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) Mall Appearance

Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng are back to the highly anticipated sequel to 1998's "The Storm Riders" as Whispering Wind and Striding Cloud respectively.

Aaron and Ekin were in town with the directors of the movie, Oxide and Danny Pang to promote the movie which is slated for Malaysian release on Dec 10.

Can you believe this guy is 44 years old? I wished I look that good in my forties. LOL!

Ekin Cheng also known as Noodle Cheng, (鄭伊麵} after a popular noodle product with a similar sounding name. :)

I have waited at the stage area since 6:30pm. Aaron, Ekin and the Pang Brothers only appeared on stage around 8:20pm.

In between those period, there were some games for the audience and not to mention, our ear drums were assaulted with the theme song of The Storm Warriors on repeat for about 183 times! :P

As with the previous installment, "The Storm Warriors" is adapted from the "Fung Wan" comicbook series created by Ma Wing-Shing. The film will focus on two of the most popular story arcs in the comicbook series - 'Japanese Invasion' and 'Death Battle'.

The mall appearance was brief. No autograph signing. Aaron, Ekin and The Pang Brothers played judges to some "sword fighting" competition before officially launching the film in Malaysia by pulling their swords out....Erm, not that kind of sword! LOL! (Insert confetti here!)

Aaron caught making funny faces.

Kissy! Kissy! He loves his Malaysian fans. He mentioned it a couples of times. :)

I am sure this movie is going to be a box office hit. Can't wait to watch it in the cinema soon!

Check out the video.

Watch out for the hilarious identical greetings from identical twins directors - Oxide and Danny Pang. I do not know who is Danny or Oxide. LOL!

ENJOY!

Note: I am very annoyed with the media photographers and video camera-totting reporters who stood on their chairs, blocking our views during the launch of the movie. Can't they just move closer to the stage since they have the privileges to be in the reserved area? We, who were outside the partition, had to strain our necks trying to catch some of the action. Bloody inconsiderate idiots! Luckily my camera has a flip screen which enable me to take over the head shots, otherwise I was going to throw my water bottle at them! Grrrr!
