We went to Sunway Medical Centre this afternoon. No, don't worry about us as we are perfectly healthy. We went there to collect our race kit and goodies bag for the SunMed Jogathon 2011.
It is a charity fun where the proceeds will go towards fulfilling a child’s wish from the Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia, a charity for terminally ill children.
The collection was quite smooth and organised. We got our bag in like within 2 minutes! :D
We were told that the race will be flagged off by the Flying Doctor, Tan Sri Dr M. Jegathesan. FYI, he is the national record holder for 200M, set in the 1960's and still stands to this day!
The goodies bag is definitely worth more than the registration fee. We have got vouchers from Starbucks, RM30 Crocs voucher, health screening vouchers and various samples including a bottle of BBQ sauce! LOL!
The T-shirt is also from the "dri-fit" material. :D

We really like the Jogathon Race Day Guide. It is very well produced to highlight all you need to know about the race day. Make sure you read it! I think the organisers have put lots of effort in making this guide! (Insert two thumbs up here!)
NOTE: You can still register for the run today and latest on Monday before they really close shop. Heheh!
You can do so at the race kit collection centre at Swan Convention Centre (Counter), 4th Floor, Multi-Storey Car Park, Sunway Medical Centre. 21st May 2011 (Saturday) 11am to 5pm & 23rd May 2011 (Monday) 9am - 6pm at Sunway Medical Centre.
