Photos & Video: Larian FAMEMAS 1Malaysia 2013

This fun run was organised by FAMEMAS (pronounced fame-mas, rhymes with famous) Supporters Club Malaysia, the only official Sports Supporters Club in Malaysia, endorsed by the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM).



Over 200 runners took part in this sold out event.



Despite being small-scaled, a few elite runners turned up to support the run at Stadium Mini, Majlis Sukan Negara, Bukit Jalil.



The runners get the chance to run on the track of the stadium, twice. Once at the start and at the end of the run.

Women 7km

Men 7km

Champion Venugopal 24.35
Runner-up Jothpal Singh 27.05
2nd Runner-up Muhd Fazly 27.47



For a mere RM20 registration fee, each finisher took home this colourful medal, a finisher's cert, an oversized tee shirt and a goodie bag. I think Famemas is spoiling the runners too much! Heheh!



The event was flagged off by Prof Dr Abdul Wahab Dato Kosai, Board member of MySihat (Lembaga Promosi Kesihatan Malaysia), Health Ministry. Check out the video below.
