MALAYSIA (29th January 2015) – Under Armour, the leading global developer and manufacturer of performance footwear and apparel officially opened in Malaysia today at KL’s leading landmark and shopping destination – Suria KLCC. Today’s opening marks the sixth brand store opening in the region with the five other stores in Singapore and the Philippines through a partnership with exclusive distributor, Triple Private Limited.

Located on the third floor of Suria KLCC and at over 2,400 square feet of retail space, the store features a provocative experiential concept. Once the customer steps into the store, he or she will fully experience what it means to be an athlete, and will feel the spirit of the Under Armour brand.
Wooden interiors, steel walls and bolts exude an industrial and gym like atmosphere for customers, while other store elements reflect the high energy of Under Armour – an echo to the brand’s signature ethos of gritty determination, passion and intensity.
Offering a vast range of sporting apparel for both men and women, the store features the newest UA apparel technology such as HeatGear® Sonic, HeatGear® Flyweight, Coldblack®, UA Tech™ and Compression range. The menswear includes men’s training, baselayers, combine training, running, golf and footwear. The women’s range includes training, running, UA’s studio line, UA studio and UA StudioLux® and the award winning Armour Bra powered by Under Armour.
Under Armour has partnered with elite Malaysian athletes including Kit Mah, Linora Low, Hansen Lee, professional golfers Nicholas Fung and Airil Rizman Zahari, fitness model and body builder Nana Al Haleq and MMA athlete, Peter Davis.
Under Armour’s roster of global athletes includes the most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, American Ballet Theatre soloist Misty Copeland, recently signed 2013 Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, and record-breaking American skier Lindsey Vonn.
