Tune Protect’s sponsorship for this tournament covered a wide range of tournament expenses such as jerseys for the officials. In addition, the sponsorship also covered medical services such as ambulances, experienced emergency first aiders and auxiliary volunteer personnel who provided safety and security.
“The significant sum of RM 50,000 has helped us elevate the experience for participants and visitors who attended the tournament. The additional Personal Accident coverage for COBRATS provided by Tune Protect give parents and children peace of mind to pursue their passion for rugby worry free,” said Anette Andersson, Tournament Director and COBRA Rugby Club Malaysia Secretary.
“We are delighted to be part of the COBRA 10s Mini Rugby Tournaments and to be able to provide protection for these young talented COBRATS,” said Razman Hafidz Abu Zarim, CEO of Tune Protect Group, who participated in the prize giving ceremony. “Rugby is a game that promotes the values of discipline, resilience, respect and teamwork. We (at Tune Protect) commend the parents for encouraging their children to participate in such wholesome extracurricular activities and we hope to be a part of similar events in the future.”
This sponsorship is also in line with Tune Protect’s commitment towards becoming a leading provider for a wide range of sporting activities, including rugby and extreme sports. This can be seen from the recent launch of Sports+, the Group’s first on-demand protection plan for extreme sports enthusiasts, tying their corporate responsibility initiatives back to their core business.
