Sepang, 1 July 2025, On 3 August 2025, over 6,000 participants from 17 countries will descend upon the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (SIC)—but not for a race of engines. It’s time for footsteps to take the spotlight as Selangor Marathon 2025 (SELMAR) flags off from the SIC Mall area in celebration of Visit Selangor Year (VSY) 2025.
Organised by The Comrades, with title sponsorship from Tourism Selangor, and strong support from the Selangor State Government, SELMAR 2025 exemplifies how sport, tourism, and unity can move in perfect rhythm.
A Cultural-Fused Running Festival
More than just a race, SELMAR 2025 promises a vibrant, multi-day festival atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-time participant in the 5KM fun run, this event is built to energise communities through healthy living and a celebration of Selangor’s rich cultural tapestry.
Runners will traverse a scenic course that offers a rare spectacle of airplanes overhead—a signature SELMAR thrill. And with start and finish at the SIC Mall, the experience remains welcoming and inclusive.
