Under Armour Malaysia’s Velociti Race Hits the Track This Saturday in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 9 April 2026 – Under Armour Malaysia is set to host its inaugural Velociti Race this Saturday, 11 April 2026, at Arena Sukan Kuala Lumpur. The one-mile challenge is designed to test runners’ speed, precision, and pacing across four timed laps on the track.

Inspired by the Under Armour Velociti collection, the race brings the brand’s performance philosophy to life. Rooted in the idea of “No Invitation Needed,” the Velociti Race celebrates self-improvement, encouraging participants to challenge their own pace and aim for personal bests, whether in everyday training or peak performance.

Held in partnership with Ciphr Performance Club, the race will recreate a stadium-style running environment with official timing and an energetic race-day atmosphere. It is supported by a diverse group of local partners, including Upbound Recovery, Uncle Jeff Drinks, Mutant®, Layna Bakery, Rokeby Nutrition, Therapin, Aura Shades, CUDIS Ring, and The Mineraw®, who provide a variety of experiences, including recovery and nutrition, lifestyle, hydration, post-run treats, and prizes for the winners.

The race consists of four timed laps, totaling one mile. Participants are grouped into eleven heats based on estimated performance, with the fastest times in the men’s and women’s categories determining overall podium placements. Multiple age categories will also be recognized, with winners celebrated both within their groups and in the overall results.
