Runwitme Says:Runners who completed the 7km route within 77 minutes are entitled to win lucky draw prizes drawn at the much anticipated Post-Run concert. In addition to live entertainment, there will be food and games stalls with proceeds from the stall sales going to the 7K Charity Run beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries of the Charity Run are the Special Olympics Sabah and the Sabah Thalassaemia Society, non-profit organisations located in Kota Kinabalu. Special Olympics Sabah (SOS) provides year-round sports training and athletic competitions in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adult with mental retardation. Meanwhile, the Sabah Thalassaemia Society provides medical services to patients of Thalassaemia, an inherited blood disorder that requires regular blood transfusions and bone marrow transplants as treatment options.
