Olympic Council of Malaysia set to present Malaysian International Marathon in Penang in 2015

Wow! Wow! Wow! We can't believe our eyes when we saw this news. Two marathons in Penang on the same bridge?!!!

According to The Star, the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) will be organising the Malaysian International Marathon (MIM) in Penang in conjuction of its 60th anniversary celebrations.

The MIM will be held at the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, Penang on
March 22 in 2015See update below. As we already knew, Penang Bridge International Marathon is also making use of the same bridge starting this year on 16 November.

OCM has teamed up with the Malaysian Athletic Federation (MAF) and Mega Visual to make the event an exciting and interesting one with an offering of total prize money amounting to RM600,000!

UPDATE: We have just received some info from the organizing committee of the upcoming Malaysia International Marathon 2015 (MIM 2015), organized by Olympic Council Malaysia (OCM) in conjunction with Mega Visual Sdn Bhd in support of FITMalaysia.

The event will take place on the 24th May 2015 in Penang (Batu Kawan Stadium to Penang Second Bridge).
