Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak Prime Minister Aidilfitri Open House

Like Dr. M, I never miss the opportunity to berhariraya with our "beloved" Prime Minister, Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak at Seri Perdana this year. Why not? There is plenty of free food. Free entertainment. Even free bus ride from Putrajaya Sentral to the PM House.

What? Rumah Terbuka Aidilfitri Perdana Menteri Malaysia & Ahli Jemaah Menteri

When? 1 Syawal 1431H or 10 Sept 2010.

Where? Seri Perdana, Putrajaya.

Who? Hosted by Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor

1Malaysia drink... The blue one tasted awful though! LOL!

The food spread is fantastic, all time Malaysian favourites like Char Kuew Teow, Rojak, Soto, Cendol, Bahulu and Roti Boom.....(eh?)

Roti Boom from Shah Alam, not Puncak Alam, occay! ;)

Also in the menu is Murtabak Pekan....This much better than last year's Roti John Pekan!

Thousand throngs Seri Perdana to pig out at the buffet spread wish our PM and his menteris a "Selamat Hari Raya", including these two funny flers. :D

This man is a regular at the PM Raya Open House. Saw him last year too, complete with matching baju raya for the whole family.

Rear view.

Front view. I ran out of caption ideas! LOL!

Group pic. Do you recognise the woman whose signature is on our Malaysian ringgit notes?

The grandsons.

The emcee - Ally Iskandar

Nasyid group, Rabbani in red.

Many menteris attended the PM's Raya Open House...and some of their kids too. Do you recognise some of the menteri kids here who have become artistes?

Jamal Abdillah, evergreen singer.

Farhan (AF4)

Azie & Syed Sobrie

Iqwal...a talented young singer.

Kelvin Lau, a regular guest singer at the PM Open House. He was there last year too.

Najib and Muhyiddin having a meal together. What a big table for two, eh?

Photo that you see in the paper....

Photo that you will NEVER see in the paper. ;)

Celebrity chef, Jaafar Onn and Pak Engku.

A little souvenier to take home.

Now the video that everyone is waiting for. It ain't over till our First Lady sings... ;)

Datin Seri Rosmah "serenaded" the guests with three songs. I managed to capture a snippet of "Gerimis Mengundang", originally by rock group, SLAM. It is a very sad song. Rosmah version is even sadder!

ENJOY!
