The On Cloudmonster 2 dropped last February, and I finally got my hands on a pair. This second generation of On's maximalist running shoe is a complete overhaul. The Swiss brand is known for pushing boundaries, and the Cloudmonster 2 is no exception. With promises of increased softness, bounciness, and sustainability, I'm eager to see if this monster of a shoe delivers.

With a meticulously designed 6mm drop, built on a 35mm heel and 29mm forefoot platform, the Cloudmonster 2 delivers a dynamic yet cushioned feel, supporting runners of all levels. It's designed for easy to moderate paces, making it ideal for long runs, recovery days, or even power walking. While the new Speedboard® promises propulsive take-offs, this shoe isn't built for speed demons.

The Cloudmonster 2 officially launched on last February and is now retails at RM939 at Running Lab stores across Malaysia. You can also find them at select retailers such as Rev Runnr and Sprint (Gurney Paragon, Penang).
