This inaugural event, officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the "Highest Altitude Tower Run Championship," saw me join over a hundred elite athletes from across Malaysia and internationally.

POTATOES USA Powers Up TWINCITY MARATHON 2022 as a New Key Sponsor

Everyone is jubilantly celebrating at the finish line of Twincity Marathon (12K category) - (From Left: Yours truly, Jaydee, Mustafa, Razzi, Dean, Fafa, Caen, and the newly-wed celebrity couple - Vanidah Imran and Arifabillah.

As a runner, I love U.S. potatoes because they are a nutritional powerhouse that help me stay fueled for my runs. They are quite easy to digest and reduce hunger pangs during a long or intense run. Furthermore, they are tasty and can be prepared in many ways – there are no limit to the versatility of the U.S. potatoes

Melawati Run 2020 - Challenge Your Limits

Winners from all the categories posing for a photo after the prize presentation of the Melawati Run 2020.
I am back, albeit it was a last-minute decision. I only got to know that the organiser had an extra media bib available the night before the race. Better late than never. So, I decided to say yes to repeating the Steroid Hill and all at the Melawati Run 2020.

My 2019 Finisher Medal Collection

It's time to put away my 2019 medal collection. They fit nicely in the mooncake metal gift box. I have a many many of them boxes over the years. Every year I would save a box to put my medals in.

It's My Third Time Running the IJM-Allianz Duo Highway Challenge and Why I Keep Returning to the NPE...

I always love running on New Pantai Expressway (NPE) ever since the adidas King of The Road (KOTR) series in the year 2011, 2012 & 2013. After that, it stopped when adidas decided to focus on other stuff (like football) and abandon the immensly popular running event, KOTR altogether.  I couldn't be happier when IJM-Allianz revived the run on the NPE in 2017. Nothing beats the freedom of running on a car-free highway with thousands of other runners on a Sunday morning!

RK Snail LSD - KL City Run 2019 (16 March 2019) - Goddess of Heavenly Queen Temple

Running at the same area can be boring. Occasionally, it is good to switch it up by joining a different running group at a different area to for a change in scenery. Last Saturday, I joined the Running Kaki or RK  - KL City Run 2019 with Abang Omar. With Abang Omar, you will never know where we are heading until we are there at the start point that morning.

Twincity Marathon 2019 - The 5th Anniversary Edition

Twincity Marathon - the go-to marathon event should you want to start the year with a 42,195km run. Me? I'm sticking to 12km. Running 42km for a bowl of cendol is just too much work! Yes, this is the one and only marathon event that serves ice cold cendol, among other food along its route in Cyberjaya.

Melawati Run 2019 - A Great Way to Kick-Start The New Year 2019!

This running event has improved over the year! In 2009, I had sworn not to participate in the event ever again after having a bad experience. There was not a drop of water provided in the route for the runners for the 10K runners and the traffic control was seriously lacking. But fast forward, 10 years later, I must give Kelab Rekreasi Taman Melawati (KRTM) a pat on the back for the many improvements done on the run.

The Last LSD in 2018: One "Dead Slow" Run To Bid 2018 Goodbye

Heheh! If you are a regular runner in Desa Parkcity, you would have come across this "Dead Slow" road sign on Jalan Changkati Intisari. I have not seen this road sign anywhere else in Malaysia, have you? This hilly stretch was part of our 24 km LSD this morning.

We gathered near Pelita @ Desa Sri Hartamas at 5am. As usual, Abang Omar didn't let us know where was he taking us. We didn't what surprises in store for us.

So, today's menu was Desa Sri Hartamas - Taman Sri Sinar - Menjalara - Desa ParkCity - Sg Penchala - Taman Tun Dr. Ismail - Bukit Kiara - Desa Sri Hartamas. A total of 24km. Phew!

Plogging in Malaysia: My First Plog @ Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur

Have you heard of plogging? It is the latest workout trend sweeping the world. And it has arrived in Malaysia.

This morning I plog for the very first time in my life. Plogging is a form of excercise said to be originated from Sweden, where the term was first coined.

Plogging comes from the Swediesh phrase "plocka upp" which means to pick up. Well, basically it means picking up trash while you run/ jog.
