AmMetLife Cultural Run 2025 Brings Malaysians Together in a Celebration of Culture, Unity, and Wellness


Kuala Lumpur, 2 November 2025 – The AmMetLife Cultural Run 2025 united close to 2,000 participants from diverse backgrounds at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur, for a vibrant morning celebrating Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage through fitness, fun, and community spirit.

Organised by AmMetLife Insurance Berhad (AmMetLife), the event saw runners dressed in colourful traditional attire, embracing the beauty of Malaysia’s cultural diversity while promoting active living. The scenic 5km route through the heart of the city was filled with energy and enthusiasm, with families, community groups, AmMetLife employees, and special needs participants running side by side to celebrate health, unity, and resilience.

The morning began at 7:00am with a performance by the One Malaysia Drum Symphony, followed by a high-energy Zumba warm-up. Participants were flagged off at 7:30am by Rangam Bir, Head of Digital & Affinity Marketing Vivian Kishore Samuel, and senior management from AmMetLife and AmBank Group, marking the start of a colourful 5km journey through Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Padang Merbok route.


Throughout the event, runners and their families enjoyed cultural performances, a lively Kids’ Clown Show, and interactive activities that kept the festive atmosphere alive. A Best Dressed Competition showcased creative interpretations of traditional wear, with winners receiving prizes worth over RM18,000.

Multiple rounds of lucky draws offered participants the chance to win exciting prizes, including a brand-new Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycle worth RM4,200, fitness equipment, home appliances, smart devices, running shoe vouchers from Brooks, shopping vouchers, and more. The event concluded with a final giveaway and a warm-down session, celebrating every participant’s achievement.


Supporters also enjoyed interactive booths, cultural showcases, and photo opportunities, making the event a truly inclusive celebration for all ages.

More than just a sporting event, the AmMetLife Cultural Run 2025 reflected the insurer’s ongoing commitment to holistic wellbeing, cultural appreciation, and community unity.
