Kuala Lumpur City Day Half Marathon 2025 Returns for Its 9th Edition

Kuala Lumpur, 9 April 2025 – Get ready, runners! The Kuala Lumpur City Day Half Marathon 2025 is back for its 9th edition, promising an electrifying race through the heart of the city. Taking place on 4th May 2025, this iconic event will offer participants a stunning route through Kuala Lumpur’s most scenic landmarks, before challenging them with the renowned hills of Bukit Tunku.

The race will start and finish at Dataran Merdeka, set against the backdrop of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a cherished symbol of Malaysia’s heritage. Last year, the event saw 10,000 runners, and this year, we’re aiming even higher – 12,000 participants! With four exciting categories—Half Marathon (21KM), 10KM Race, 5KM Fun Run, and 3KM Fun Run—this event welcomes runners of all levels, from seasoned athletes to families and persons with disabilities (OKU), aligning with the government’s “Sports for All” initiative.

• 10KM Race: Flag off at 5:45 AM
• 5KM Fun Run: Flag off at 7:15 AM
• 3KM Fun Run: Flag off at 7:30 AM
