IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge 2026 Opens for Registration on 26 April

Kuala Lumpur, 24 April 2026 – IJM Corporation Berhad (“IJM”), in collaboration with Allianz Malaysia Berhad, is pleased to announce the return of IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge (DHC) 2026, marking its 8th edition as one of Malaysia’s premier highway running events.

Set to take place on Sunday, 2 August 2026, the event will once again offer participants a unique opportunity to experience a World Athletics-certified race across two iconic highways - Besraya Highway (E9) and New Pantai Highway (E10) - with the official flag-off at New Pantai Highway in front of Sunway Pyramid.

Jointly organised by Besraya (M) Sdn Bhd, New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd and EC Pixels Asia, this year’s event is targeting 15,000 participants, further reinforcing its position as one of the region’s most anticipated running events. Runners can choose from four race categories: 42.195KM (Full Marathon), 21KM (Half Marathon), 10KM and 5KM, catering to both seasoned runners and recreational enthusiasts.

Exclusive Runner Rewards & Limited-Time Upgrade Offers

As part of the event’s special promotional offerings, exclusive rewards will be extended to returning runners from previous DHC editions as a gesture of appreciation for their continued support.

Eligible participants will enjoy access to a “Surprise Promo” feature, which unlocks instant discount rewards based on early bird pricing. This limited-time promotion will run from 26 April 2026 to 3 May 2026, with each participant entitled to a one-time redemption.

In addition, selected participants from the 2024 and 2025 editions will be offered an exclusive opportunity to upgrade to the Full Marathon (42.195KM) category at a special flat rate of RM120. This limited-time upgrade window will be available from 22 April to 25 April 2026, subject to terms and conditions.

The event continues to be supported by key stakeholders and authorities, including the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM), Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ), Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ), and the Sports Commissioner.

This continued collaboration underscores a shared commitment to delivering a safe, well-coordinated, and high-quality event experience, while promoting active lifestyles and community engagement.

Strong Track Record and Growing Participation

Since its inception in 2017, the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge has grown significantly in scale and reputation, attracting more than 70,000 participants, including international runners from across the globe.

The 2025 edition recorded a strong turnout of over 13,000 participants from 31 countries, underscoring the event’s growing regional and international appeal as a signature highway running event in Malaysia.
