Bandar Sunway, 28 January 2015 – Sunway Lagoon invites all Malaysians to head over to Asia’s one stop fun destination and take part in their first ever Walk & Hunt in the Wild event – a walkathon combined treasure hunt which will take place on 22 March 2015 at its very own newly refurbished Wildlife Park!
Happening on the same day, the unique two-in-one event will see public members of all ages take part in an energetic morning walk around Sunway Lagoon, followed by an exciting wildlife-themed treasure hunt challenge together with their respective teams, consisting of 4 to 6 members each and it is encouraged to have at least one child in each participating team.
Held for the very first time in Malaysia, the event aims to educate the public about the wildlife as well as to promote togetherness among their friends and family members, as they go through a host of activities and challenges throughout the first half of the day.
“As Malaysia’s premier theme park, we are excited to be the first to host such an event with two unique activities that promote the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well as unity among fellow Malaysians. Here at Sunway Lagoon, the fun never stops. We welcome families and friends to create great memories together, as well as gaining knowledge through our attractions, making the theme park a fun educational hub for all ages,” said Sean Choo, General Manager of Sunway Lagoon.

Through Sunway Lagoon’s Wildlife Learning Programme, this event will enhance the participants’ knowledge on wildlife, as they are required to complete tasks around the Wildlife Park in order to complete the challenge. Once the event concludes, participants would then have the privilege to enjoy the theme park for the rest of the day,” he added.
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation and stand a chance to win great prizes from Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, Lost World of Tambun, Lost World Hotel and Sunway Lagoon worth more than RM14,000 in total.
