adidas Malaysia Teams Up with Score Marathon to Empower Southeast Asia’s Fastest-Growing Run


Kuala Lumpur, 27 April 2026 – In a move that solidifies its footprint in the regional running circuit, adidas Malaysia has officially stepped up as the Official Sportswear Partner for SCORE Marathon 2026.

This collaboration isn't just about branding; it’s a massive push to support a race recognized by World Athletics and to foster a deeper sense of community under the rallying cry: "You Got This."

Chasing a Record-Breaking Turnout

Set against the backdrop of Dataran Putrajaya on 18-19 July 2026, SCORE Marathon is aiming for the history books. With an expected 50,000 runners, the event is attempting to secure a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest running event in the country.

"At adidas, ‘You Got This’ reflects our belief that every runner deserves to feel confident and supported. From a first 5K to chasing personal bests, we are standing alongside runners at every step," says Preston Page, Country Manager of adidas Malaysia.

Exclusive Gear for Every Distance

Participants across all categories—from the 5KM fun run to the grueling 42KM full marathon—will be outfitted in official event tees by adidas. Those tackling the half and full marathons will also earn exclusive finisher tees, marking their achievement in high-performance style.






The Road to Race Day: More Than Just a Run

The partnership introduces a holistic ecosystem designed to take runners from training to the finish line:
  • Elite Training Clinics: Starting in May and running through July, adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur (ARKL) will host structured clinics. Certified coaches and elite pacers will offer guidance on pacing, endurance, and recovery to ensure every participant is race-ready.
  • The Adizero Experience: During the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) from 16-18 July, runners can hit the Adizero experiential zone. This is a chance to trial pinnacle racing silhouettes like the Adizero Evo SL and the Adizero Adios Pro 4.
  • Customization & Merch: A dedicated booth will allow runners to personalize their essentials, while two exclusive adidas x SCORE Marathon merchandise collections will be available for early access.
Post-Race: Recovery and Celebration

The engagement doesn't end at the finish line. The Race Village will feature a large-scale Adizero hub acting as both a performance showcase and a recovery center. Runners can expect:
  • Post-race stretching stations and foam rolling guides.
  • Dedicated photo ops for that perfect "medal shot."
  • Expert consultations on race-day gear and performance tech.
