This could have been my award-winning picture of winner if not for this uncle who suddenly dashed out of nowhere to hog the limelight. Kacau daun saja!
At about 11:50 am, all the participants who have decided that they had enough of the walk (like me haha!) were asked to assemble at the finishing gate. We waited for the elite competitors to finish their last laps. Simon Zdenek (Czech Republic) and Zagryazhskaya Irina (Russia) won in the Men and Women Open respectively. Zdenek completed 190.9km and Zag covered 176.88km. We walked across the finished line behind the winners and each of us was given a finisher medal.
