The Organisers of the Feel Good Run 2012 would like to offer a public apology for having to forego its plans to introduce a platform for pet lovers to run with their pets in this charity fun run happening on 8 July at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama.
Following the advisory and feedback from various parties on the safety concerns and measurements of the runners and animals, the committee will need to put on hold its plans to avoid any unpleasant incidents from occurring.
“We have learnt from other runs that safety comes first above all else. The team definitely needs more preparation time and training to be fully equipped as this is a new avenue for us,” said Airin Zainul, Group General Manager of ntv7 & 8TV.
“We always strive to provide runners with a feel good experience and we believe this golden rule is important in any running events,” added Airin.
Despite the decision to cancel the pets run, the Organisers have reassured that there are still many things to look forward to on 8 July with more excitement injected to it.
Meanwhile, the number of registration is picking up fast since the opening of its registration on 21 March and interested runners are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible before its closing date on 1 June. Registration can be done online at Feel Good Run’s official website, www.ntv7.com.my/feelgoodrun, while manual registrations can be done at the following:
