I went to MidValley after Jolin Tsai press conference in KL Hilton just to catch a glimpse of Taiwanese boyband yesterday evening. I want to see why they are so popular nowadays. These four boys reminds me of F4. All members have high scores in the looks department but "can-do-lah" when it comes to singing.
During my school days, Fahrenheit used to be a scale to measure temperature. Nowaday...Fahrenheit is known as either a place to shop or a manufactured boyband from Taiwan. LOL!
Thanks to Wikipedia, I learn that the name Fahrenheit denotes a season or temperature that corresponds with the band members' different personalities.
Calvin Chen represents spring, warm; Jiro Wang represents summer, hot; Wu Chun represents autumn, cool; and lastly, Aaron Yan represents winter, cold. Each of the four members also has his respective temperature represented on the Fahrenheit scale: Calvin Chen is at 77 degrees, Jiro Wang is at 95 degrees, Wu Chun is at 59 degrees, and Aaron Yan is at 41 degrees. Each of their temperatures are separated by 18 degrees. (Insert eye rolling ceremony here!)
Fahrenheit was flown in to Malaysia by the marketing geniuses in Canon. Canon cameras have been seen flying off the shelves because of Fahrenheit, the brand ambassador.
In order to have the autograph of these four boys, you have to purchase a Canon camera. The days that your artiste would gladly sign whatever you put in front of him is long gone. Now, you have to show your "fan-loyalty" by buying products endorsed by your artist, which in most cases, the products you don't need. Heheh!
Having said that, I would gladly buy a camera or anything that is endorsed by Mariah Carey for a chance to meet my favourite diva, if she ever come to Malaysia again.
Mimi, can you hear me? LOL!
