There are two reasons why this year’s Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM) means so much to me. First, it fell on my birthday – 18 November and second, it would be our last time running on this bridge because starting next year, PBIM will be held on the new bridge from Batu Maung. PBIM has a special place in my heart it was where I got my first finisher medal way back in 2000, when I first started running.
