Participants of the Batik Fun Walk can look forward to some sizzling performances from Astro Celebrities like Stacy, Mila, Daus and Maulana. The event will be hosted by Hasrul Raja Lawak and Linda Jasmine will be the dance instructor.
Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia, organizer of the Malaysia Batik – Crafted for the World Movement activities, is pleased to announce that the Batik Fun Walk will be held on Sunday, 21st November 2010.
The Batik Fun Walk is an annual event on the calendar of Malaysia Batik – Crafted for the World Movement. It is good wholesome fun that everyone in the family can take part in and enjoy.
Over the past seven years, this fun event has grown, with added interest from sponsors and walking participants alike. The number of participants has held steady at around 500 marks.

- Youngest Participant
- Oldest Participant
- Largest Group
- Individual Most Creatively Dressed in Batik
- Family Most Creatively Dressed in Batik
- Lucky Draws
Flag off
On Sunday, 21st November 2010, Minister of Federal Territories & Urban Wellbeing, YB Senator Dato’ Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin is scheduled to flag off the Batik Fun Walk!
The Route
This year the routes for Batik Fun Walk will be 3.9 km. It will start and end at the VIP Parking of the Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The route will take you down Jalan Putra, then right up to Jalan Tun Ismail and onto the home stretch!

For just a small fee of RM10, you get a batik sarong and the chance to take part in this healthy, fun event. Children under 12 can join free of charge.
