This year's Terry Fox Run was held last Sunday from 8.45am at Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, and proceeds for the charity run would benefit the Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation (CARIF).
Peoples from all walks of life gathered at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa to show support for cancer research by participating in the Terry Fox Run - known as the World's largest single day fund raising event for cancer research. There were many corporate sponsors as well.
Briefing to the volunteers.
Brisk sale at the TFR T-Shirt booth. About 13,000 T shirts were sold before and during the run this year. All funds will go to CARIF to find a cure for cancer.
I bumped into JJ of Hitz FM with his family who also turned up to support TFR.
You know you are in Kuala Lumpur if you see those two pinnacles from the KLCC Twin Tower in the background. :)

At the start line.
This year is "extra" special because it marks the 30th anniversary of TFR. Runners also tried to make the run special by dressing differently. :)
Sarong party runners!
Some even tied their legs...Hmmm. I didn't have the hance to talk to them. Not sure what was their intention. Anyone knows?
A fun outing for the family.
If you you don't wanna run, you can ride, wheel, blade etc.
The route took runners around the beautiful lake of Titiwangsa park, with an impressive KL skyline.
Kids had the most fun at TFR. :)
Yummy muffins from KL Hilton. One of the reasonsI came back for the run. One is never enough! Heheh!
The road marshals jumped for joy when the run was over. :)
