Be the first to run in the newly minted Marina Bay East Park of Singapore. It is an evening race, runners will get to set foot on the footpaths that winds through Marina Bay, Tanjong Rhu and Kallang River Basin. Never too far from the water, this race promise to open up your senses by drawing you into the captivating scenery of the Singapore Marina Bay skyline.
Marina 21K aims to rewrite history by becoming the first half marathon that promotes sustainability in sport and recreation. They have plan to be the first "Car-free" half marathon - all participants will get FREE ride from designated MRT stations.
They also aim to reduce papercup by 20% and have started a recycling movement to encourage runners to donate their old running shoes to villagers in Cambodia. (Insert applause here)
You have a choice of NOT printing your race certificate to save the environment. A digital copy will be sent to you instead! This 'Less Print, More Green' movement is part of Marina 21K organizer's desire to promote a sustainable athletic community. You can play a role in it too.
Mizuno finisher T and medal will be issued to respective finishers, not forgetting the goodie bags!
