First Look: Olympic Day Fun Run 2013 Running T-Shirt and Medal Designs
McDonald's once again team up with Olympic Council of Malaysia to bring active Malaysians the annual Olympic Day Run this coming Sunday at Dataran Merdeka.
For those who had signed up, these gorgeous limited medals are up for grab! :)
The official running tees designs are quite similar to last year's, except for the four runner silhouettes in white on the back of the T-shirt.
We think this got something to do with running as a family. There is a special category for family for 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 7-14 years, where one child must be aged 12 years and below.
The cotton tees are available in four block colours. Take your pick!
Yup! This is the famous mantra - It's what I eat and what I do.
To be fully immersed in the event, the company has also encouraged its crew and staff to participate in this fun activity with friends and family and this year there will be around 100 enthusiastic staff and crew participation.
We met two of the McDonald's staff - Nurul Yakin (3rd from R) and Saiffudin (5th from R) earlier this morning to talk about their participation in the fun run. Both of them will be taking part in the 10km categories and they are not new to fun run like this.
According to Crew Trainer, Nurul Yakin, the main reason for her to take part in the run is to keep a healthy lifestyle.
Saiffudin is actually a "runner" in the McDonald Restaurant. He is the one who runs around behind the counter, picking your orders. This Sunday he will be a different kind of runner! Like Nurul Yakin, he too runs for fitness.
We would like to wish everyone a fun and fantastic run!
FYI, the entry has been closed when the target of 15,000 runners were achieved.
