Let's Join Celebrity Fitness Malaysia for Zumba® WAD!!! (With a Difference) in support of World AIDS Day 2014

Kuala Lumpur, 6 November 2014 – Celebrity Fitness Malaysia is inviting all Malaysians to join ‘Zumba® WAD!’ The event, held in conjunction with World AIDS Day 2014, takes the form of a 3-hour Zumba party on 13 December 2014 at MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre from 6:30am.

The event builds upon the Zumba® craze which has taken the world by storm in recent times. Using fun upbeat music, Zumba® has redefined cardio fitness by “ditching the workout and joining the party”. To date, it remains the number one dance fitness program in the world. Testament to this fact is the more than 1,000 participants who have pledged their support towards Zumba® WAD!!!, an exclusive event by Celebrity Fitness Malaysia.

Proceeds from the initiative will be channelled towards the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, in support of the organisation’s aim to raise much needed funds for HIV prevention, treatment, care and support programmes in some of Malaysia’s most underserved populations.

“Between 1986 and 2013, a total of 101, 672 Malaysians were infected with HIV while 16, 340 Malaysians lost the battle to the disease. While this is a very sensitive issue, we at Celebrity Fitness Malaysia do not discriminate. Instead, we challenge this issue head-on, with a strong determination to eradicate the social stigma revolved around HIV and AIDS. With that, we are very pleased to organize the Zumba WAD!!!”, said Choi Kwangho, Senior Vice President of Celebrity Fitness Malaysia.

Participants at Zumba® WAD!!! will not only be supporting a worthy cause but they will also be working towards a fitter and healthier lifestyle. Whether or not one is a beginner or expert, the Celebrity Fitness super star instructors will keep participants hot, sweaty and on their toes.

• RM40 for Celebrity Fitness members
• RM50 for non-members
