myBuddies Run 2016 is back, in the hot trails of the remarkably successful 2015 Larian Sehati Sejiwa and myBuddies Run. We enjoyed the last year’s run so much that we decided to participate in it again this year. Yes, we chose this over PJ Half Marathon which was also on the same date as myBuddies Run.
Organised in conjunction of National Day 2016, the event aims to gather all Malaysians in the spirit of unity and solidarity for the nation. Was told that around 7,000 runners had signed up for the run.
We think they did a good job! Even uniting various fluffy animals! Heheh!
As part of MYNIC’s objective to promote active online lifestyle, all participants will also receive online freebies such as .MY domain names or antivirus. It is meant to help the development of the internet community and online businesses.
“This will encourage youth and entrepreneurs to be bolder in marketing their business online. The .MY domain name is very useful for their branding and will make it easier for them to start their online activities”, said Hasnul Fadhly Hasan, MYNIC CEO.
The run was flag off at Persiaran Flora and took us around the Cyberjaya main roadss. There we not much traffic in Cyberjaya on a Sunday as if we were having the whole road to ourselves!
If you can’t be the fastest runner, be the best dressed one! That must be the motto of these two.

We must thank the volunteers and the organisers for serving iced cold Lucozade! Like revenge, it is best served cold! Heheh!

After just two editions, MyBuddies Run has proven itself as one of the most well-received runs in Cyberjaya. Everything was smooth for the 10K event. No major complaints. Two thumbs up to the organiser Mynic Bhd. Can’t wait to come back again next year!
