Kuala Lumpur, 24 May 2022 - RISE International Sports Exhibition Sdn. Bhd. will be organising the nation’s biggest cycling expo of its kind in Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. MyCycleXpo 2022 is set to open its door on 29th July 2022 and will take place for three consecutive days until 31st July 2022.
The expo aims to showcase cycling related products and brands and is anticipating 30,000 visitors.
“MyCycleXpo 2022 aims to establish Malaysia as a cycling hub within the region, as well as to reach out to the region's cycling communities, and most importantly, to contribute to the nation’s trade revenue,” said Nik Badrul Hisham Nik Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of RISE Intemational Sports Exhibition Sdn. Bhd. Apart from its main purpose as a marketplace and testing ground for cyclists, MyCycleXpo 2022 will offer a list of activities for its participants and visitors.
Marketplace
The marketplace offers 5 different categories including bike and accessories, fashion, travel, healthcare and lifestyle cafe. The bike and accessories segment will be featuring cutting-edge cycling gear and technology including bicycles, cycling parts, accessories and gadgets from well-known brands.
MyCycleXpo 2022 serves as a platform for bike enthusiasts to source cycling activewear and fitness lifestyle apparel, specifically curated to maximise performance for cyclists on the go.
The travel exhibitors will also include travel agencies and resorts offering cycling tourism packages and cycling activities. Helping cyclists to plan the dream cycling vacations with ease of mind.
The healthcare booths will be offering nutritional supplements and healthcare devices to boost sports performance or maintain a healthy lifestyle. Visitors can also learn useful tips on the latest dietary nutrition, ways to optimise recovery, and how to improve cycling performance.
Finally, the lifestyle cafe where the cycling community replenishes & recharge while experiencing the latest in fitness & cycling themed F&B concepts. MyCycleXpo 2022 is set to be the meeting point of Asia’s cycling clubs and influencers.
Activities
Visitors will stand a chance to ride with big names in the cycling industry in Ride with The Stars. Anuar Manan, former professional cyclists from the TSG Cycling Team with other cycling stars and celebrities will lead the Ride with Stars segment.
Other activities include a 2-hour Zumba session with Nas Adila Dance Crew, Pro Cycling Clinic, Reading Corner by Karya Seni, Exhibitors “Fire Sale”, Lucky Draw, Asean Push Bike Championship, Kids Zone, Street Soccer, Cycling Fashion Show, blood drive, along with talks and seminars.
Entertainment and Showcase
One of the main highlights of the expo will be the Ministry of Youth and Sports Pavilion, a place to gain information on the upcoming and ongoing activities offered by ne Ministry of Youth and Sports for the public. Other entertainment and showcases include the BMX Stunt Show, buskers performance, mini concert, product launches, the Hall of Fame featuring the fascinating history of cycling in Malaysia, from its earliest days of adoption, non up to the modern era here today with Malaysia recognised internationally in the aeing industry and event booths, bringing forth the cycling event organisers involving Le Tour de Langkawi, Jelajah Malaysia, GFNY World Championship and many more.

Booths
The standard rate for local exhibitors is RM5,500.00 per year, eligible for all exhibitions under MyCycleXpo and the international rate is USD2,500.00 (RM10,977.50). Malaysian businesses who are interested to join may grab the early bird slots which is going for RM3,800.00 for a limited time only. Exhibitors will be provided with a standard Shell Scheme booth including a fascia board with 9 square metre (3 metre x 3 metre) exhibitors’ booth showcasing the number and company name, 2 units fluorescent lights, 1 unit 13-amp electrical point, an information desk, 2 chairs, 1 waste bin and needle-punch carpet flooring within the booth area.
Nik added that MyCycleXpo 2022 hopes to establish Malaysia as the cycling hub in Southeast Asia, as a continuity to Le Tour de Langkawi being one of the most established races in Asia.
