EVA Air and MOVE Private Fitness Join Forces to Get Malaysian Runners Ready for EVA Air Marathon 2024

Kuala Lumpur, 15 July 2024 - In anticipation of the ‘Run Taipei’ EVA Air Marathon 2024, set to take place on 27 October in Taipei, Taiwan, EVA Air, Taiwan’s leading independent airline, is partnering with MOVE Private Fitness to help Malaysian runners gear up for the big run ahead. Since its inception in 2018, the EVA Air Marathon has welcomed over 100,000 runners from over 40 countries, including many from Malaysia. 

Certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), the event upholds high standards of race organisation and quality, attracting elite runners and enthusiasts worldwide. The EVA Air Marathon is not just a celebration of athletic prowess but also an opportunity for the global community to come together in the vibrant city of Taipei, providing an excellent occasion to experience all that Taipei has to offer, making it a perfect blend of sports and tourism. 

Understanding that a successful race starts with the right preparation, EVA Air, in collaboration with MOVE Private Fitness, a personal training centre in Klang Valley, will be hosting a series of engaging and informative workshops. 

These sessions aim to equip Malaysian runners with valuable training tips, techniques, and effective strategies, to enhance their marathon performance and overall wellness. 

Taking place on 28 July 2024 and 8 September 2024, participants in the workshops can look forward to special appearances by Malaysia’s top sports and fitness influencers, including Ann Pow, Allison Phui Se, Yen Chia, and Azizi Tamizi, who will also run in the EVA Air Marathon. 

They will offer tips on basic strength training, minimal equipment exercises, and effective nutrition for marathon preparation. Designed for all runners, these workshops will help participants cross the finish line safely and confidently.
