New Balance Launches 1080v15: Everyday Comfort Redefined

Kuala Lumpur, 15 January 2026 – New Balance has officially unveiled the 1080v15, its flagship everyday running shoe in Malaysia, with a launch brought to life through community-driven experiences at the New Balance Run Hub KLCC. This milestone reflects the brand’s renewed focus on what everyday runners value most: premium comfort and long-lasting performance.

The 1080v15 is designed to support runners at every stage of their journey, embodying New Balance’s belief that comfort is not an added benefit but the very foundation of performance. Through shared experiences and interactive touchpoints, the launch celebrates movement that prioritises wellbeing, sustainability and personal rhythm over short-term gains.

Central to the launch is the 1080 Collective Run, a community initiative inviting runners to collectively clock 1,080 kilometres during the activation period. Participants are encouraged to trial the 1080v15 at Run Hub KLCC and contribute their mileage toward a shared goal. The challenge is less about chasing results and more about celebrating connection, joy and collective achievement. Once the 1,080KM target is reached, contributors will receive a Limited Edition 1080 Tee, redeemable at Run Hub KLCC.

Bringing the Running Community Together

From 14 to 25 January 2026, New Balance is hosting interactive experiences and activations centred at Run Hub KLCC and extended to key running locations across Kuala Lumpur. These activities are designed to celebrate everyday running, encouraging participants to experience comfort first-hand, reflect on their personal rituals and move together as part of a collective journey.

A dedicated Journal Starter Station will also be available at Run Hub KLCC, offering a hands-on experience for runners to personalise their journal and begin documenting their journey.

Highlights include wear-test sessions of the 1080v15, where each trial contributes kilometres to the Collective Run. Purchasers of the shoe will receive a 30-Run Journal, with a dedicated Journal Starter Station at Run Hub KLCC offering customisation workshops to personalise and begin documenting their journey. The 1080 Route invites runners to complete checkpoints such as a Footscan, shoe trial and sharing their run on social media, with rewards like cookies and towel bags available.

Your Running Rituals

A reflective installation, Your Running Rituals, encourages runners to pause and share their everyday practices by adding them to the Ritual Wall, creating a collective story of running culture. Community runs are also hosted throughout the activation period, welcoming runners of all paces and experience levels.
