Lotus’s Ceria Charity Run 2026 Raises Record RM500,000 for Education

Ara Damansara, 28 September 2026 - The fourth edition of the Lotus’s Ceria Charity Run 2026 (CCR'26) wrapped up at Lotus’s Ara Damansara on September 27, 2026, bringing together over 5,000 runners and raising a record-breaking RM 500,000 for education. Since its debut in 2023, this marks the highest amount ever raised by the event. All proceeds will go directly toward the Lotus’s – PINTAR SMART Up School Programme, driving the grand initiative to empower 50,000 students nationwide by 2030.

For the first time since its inception, CCR'26 introduced a 21.1km Competitive Half Marathon featuring Men’s and Women’s Open and Veteran categories, complementing the returning 5km and 10km Shop & Run distances to accommodate runners of all skill levels. 

Every participant contributed directly to the cause, with RM20 from each registration and RM30 from special-edition jersey sales going straight into funding practical financial literacy workshops like Smart Shopper Plus. Since partnering with the PINTAR Foundation in 2016 under the #KitakanJiran initiative, Lotus's programs have already taught essential budgeting skills to thousands of students across 21 adopted schools in seven states.

Beyond the track, participants enjoyed a bustling Race Village packed with 36 product sampling booths, family games, food trucks, and a high-stakes lucky draw featuring grand prizes like treadmills and massage chairs. CEO of Lotus's Malaysia, Saksit Panurach, expressed deep gratitude to the runners, sponsors, and partners, noting that every kilometer completed brings the organization one step closer to its 2030 student empowerment goal.
