Ta da....Check out the official running vests for Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM) 2013, unveiled by Giga Sports Sdn Bhd (Official distributor of Asics apparel & footwear in Malaysia). Yellow for the guys and purple for the girls.
This marked the second year ASIC partnership with PBIM as the official apparel sponsor. This brands also sponsors some 52 marathons around the world, including the NYC Marathon, Paris Marathon, Tokyo Marathon, Los Angeles Marathon and many more.
"Asics has a long and proud tradistion of partnering with renowned world athletes, teams and federations. We believe through sponsoring the PBIM 2013, it will further elevate ASICS' position as a leading sports and performance brand in Malaysia," said Kris Lee, Assistant Brand Manager of Giga Sports Sdn. Bhd.
The sponsorship will see ASICS provide the runners with sporting apparel fir for Malaysia's humid weather. Total sponsorship includes 37,000 running vests, 4,000 finisher tee and 20% discount vouchers which will be distributed in the participants goodies bag.
A record breaking number of more than 45,000 runners have registered for the event on 17 November 2013. Are you one of them?
