Nike's Latest Releases for Air Max Day 2020

On March 26, 1987, Nike debuted its first sneaker showcasing the Swoosh’s now iconic Air technology through a side-visibility window — the Air Max 1. Thirty-three years later, and with the continual ingenuity of Nike Air by way of Air Manufacturing Innovation, the company still celebrates the revolutionary cushioning platform on the release date of its first shoe. 

This Air Max Day 2020, Nike pays homage to the countless Air Max variations over the years that paved the way for the future of Air, including the recent Air Max 90 Flyease and the Air Max Verona. The day also helps Air Max wearers celebrate their style and showcase their creativity. Here’s what you'll find and where:

Air Max Day 2020 Drops

Designed to illustrate what the future holds, the Air Max Day colors of Air Max 2090 imagine a future state where roads are dominated by electric and solar-powered vehicles. The Air Max 2090's initial colorway is available in unisex and youth sizing, and lava-glow is a women's exclusive colorway. The Air Max 2090 drops March 26 on SNKRS and select retailers.

Nike brings back the cult-favorite duck camo print from the 2013 Air Max 90 Atmos as basis for a new Air Max Duck Camo Pack. The pack includes an inverted color scheme of the original Air Max 90 Duck Camo shoe, and an Air Max 2090 with the duck camo print peeking out of a translucent-layered upper. The shoes come in unisex, youth and toddler sizing. The Air Max Duck Camo pack is available March 26 on SNKRS and select retailers.

The shine of precious metals make their return on the Air Max 90 Metallic Pack, originally only available via Nike By You. The women's pack is also offered in toddler sizing, and releases in gold, rose gold and silver colorways March 26 on SNKRS and select retailers.
