5 Days, 4 Nights: An Unforgettable Adventure in Langkawi & Pulau Tuba

Our Langkawi adventure began the night before departure. With excitement buzzing, we piled into a chartered van at KL Gombak LRT Station around 10.30pm, ready for the journey ahead.

Day 1: Langkawi Awaits!

We reached Kuala Perlis Jetty by 6.20am, just in time to catch the ferry to Langkawi. Stepping off the ferry into the warm embrace of a sunny Langkawi morning, a wave of relief washed over us after a quick scramble to board the full ferry. Eja and Alias, our friendly local reps, greeted us and whisked us away for a delicious breakfast of nasi lemak with gulai daging at Kufa Cafe.

Hang Out Urban + Eco

Our home for the night was the conveniently located Hang Out Urban + Eco. After checking in, we delved into a hearty lunch of laksa utara and masak lemak utara at Maklang Selera Bonda Nenda by Ilham Ceramic.

Our day ended with a visit to Langkawi Nature Park. We strolled through the scenic mangrove walk, met the park's resident hyenas, and explored the aviary filled with colorful pigeons, peacocks, and rabbits. After all that exploration, a well-deserved snack of fish and chips refueled us for the evening.

Feeling pleasantly full, we skipped dinner and headed back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

A quick stop at Tanjung Rhu for some photo ops and a refreshing shower was a perfect way to wash away the travel fatigue. We then indulged in coffee and snacks at Mawart Coffee & Batik, immersing ourselves in the local culture. Before leaving Langkawi, we couldn't resist stocking up on Minyak Gamat, a popular local herbal oil, from a nearby stall.

With a final wave goodbye to Langkawi, we boarded the 7pm ferry back to Kuala Perlis. Upon reaching Kuala Perlis, we hopped on an express bus back to Kuala Lumpur, our hearts brimming with memories of an unforgettable adventure.
