Going Beyond Mobility: Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) introduces first-ever KLIMS Run 2026

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 11 March, 2026 — In anticipation of the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026) happening later this June, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) is proud to announce its first-ever KLIMS Run 2026, taking place on 17 May 2026 at Dataran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). More than a run, this exciting event brings the spirit of mobility to life beyond the exhibition halls – where fitness meets purpose, and where people of all ages come together to champion active lifestyles, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Aligning with the theme “Beyond Mobility”, participants are invited to be part of KLIMS 2026 first public activity that celebrates the future of mobility while contributing to an active and more connected world. The KLIMS Run 2026 will be held during the KL Car-Free Morning, serving as a prelude to KLIMS 2026, while building excitement and community engagement ahead of the much anticipated show.

Venue: Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) Square, Jalan Raja Laut, 50350, Kuala Lumpur, WP, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur

Participants can register online via KLIMS Run 2026 website from now until 26 April 2026 with a RM60 participation fee for the 5KM category and RM65 for the 7KM category. All participants will receive a running official event apparel, race bib, and a finisher medal.

The KLIMS Run 2026 serves as a symbolic stride towards the future of mobility, setting the tone for the highly anticipated KLIMS 2026 showcase happening from 12 to 21 June 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

As Malaysia's leading automotive and mobility showcase, KLIMS 2026 is set to present the latest innovations shaping the future of transportation — from electrification and alternative energy to smart mobility solutions — with key attendance from industry players, global brands, and enthusiasts that will gather to explore the future of technology and ideas that redefine how we move, live, and connect.
