Run Like Keluang Man! 7,000 Fans Unleash Their Inner Superhero!

Get ready to shout "Kita Enjoy!" because the hype for the upcoming Keluang Man live-action movie just hit a whole new level of awesome! To get our inner superheroes pumped before the film swoops into cinemas on May 29th, Astro Shaw threw the 'Keluang Man WONDA Fun Run' – and it was Malaysia's FIRST. EVER. original superhero-themed run! Talk about a legendary move!

This epic morning marked the very first time the one and only Keluang Man teamed up with the power of Wonda Coffee and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), all happening alongside the super chill Car Free Morning vibes.

7,000 Caped Crusaders Take Over KL!

For its Kuala Lumpur debut, the 5KM run kicked off right from the iconic Menara DBKL, and guess what? A whopping almost 7,000 fans of all ages flocked to the scene! The energy was electric as everyone geared up at 6:45 am with a warm-up that could rival Keluang Man's agility. Then, BAM! At 7:00 am, the flag dropped, officially launched by the real deal – Keluang Man himself, the adorable mascot BeBe, and a representative from DBKL. The crowd went WILD!

Masks On, Excitement Level: MAX!

What made this run totally unique? Seeing thousands of Malaysians rocking Keluang Man masks! It was a sea of burgundy, a true testament to the love for our national superhero. And for some lucky folks, they even snagged limited-edition exclusive jerseys! But the star power didn't stop there...

The fun run was practically a mini-premiere with appearances by the movie's awesome cast, including the man himself, Nas Muammar Zar, the legendary Datuk Rosyam Nor, the radiant Shweta Sekhon, the charismatic Anwaar Beg Moghal, the cool Sham Sunder, and the energetic Razzuan Rosli. Plus, we even had the incredible Krisya, who sang the movie's theme song, and the rocking local band S.O.G. setting the mood! Talk about a star-studded superhero squad!

Bringing the Keluang Man Universe to Life!

Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, the Executive Producer of Keluang Man and Head of Astro Shaw, was clearly thrilled with the turnout. "We're absolutely blown away by the incredible support from Keluang Man fans, everyone who joined the run, and our amazing partners Wonda Coffee and DBKL for making the Keluang Man WONDA Fun Run such a massive success!" she exclaimed.

The fun didn't stop at the finish line! Participants got to dive into a bunch of awesome booth activities, including meet-and-greets and photo ops with the Keluang Man cast and the adorable BeBe mascot. We were treated to live performances by the powerhouse Krisya and S.O.G., and there were lucky draws with some seriously cool prizes up for grabs. Of course, you could also snag some exclusive Keluang Man merchandise to show off your superhero pride! And guess what? Malaysia's number one radio station, ERA, was even broadcasting live from the event, adding to the already buzzing atmosphere!

Speaking of Wonda Kopi Kluang, this collaboration has been a HUGE hit! For the first time ever, our beloved animated superhero has leaped off the screen and into a can, and it's a massive success with over 2 million cans sold in just eight months! Malaysians clearly can't get enough of Keluang Man, in any form!
