Eco-Shop and FAMEMAS Unites Malaysians with “Malaysia Power” — Bangkok Awaits!

Eco-Shop, Malaysia’s leading ultra-affordable home retailer, together with FAMEMAS, Malaysia’s official sports supporters’ club, successfully launched “Malaysia Power”, a nationwide movement that rallied Malaysians behind our athletes at the SEA Games 2025 in Bangkok.

The collaboration was formalised through a Letter of Intent (LOI) signed by Jessica Ng, CEO and Executive Director of Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd, and Lee Hui Seng, President of FAMEMAS on 3 October 2025. 

The signing ceremony was further elevated by the presence of former national athletes – Datuk Foo Kok Keong (badminton), Noraseela Khalid (athletics – 400m hurdles), Chai Fong Ying (wushu), and R. Puvaneswaran (karate) – whose achievements across different sports symbolised Malaysia’s rich sporting legacy and inspired the new generation of supporters.

As part of the initiative, Eco-Shop sponsored 45 delegates – comprising FAMEMAS members and loyal Eco-Shop customers – to represent Malaysia in the stands and provide full-throated support for Team Malaysia.

Contest That Inspired a Nation

The Malaysia Power Contest, held nationwide from 6–26 October 2025, gave Malaysians the chance to win a fully sponsored trip to Bangkok. Thousands participated by shopping at Eco-Shop outlets, with winners now preparing for their unforgettable 4D3N experience — complete with official supporter gear, cheer squad essentials, and the pride of waving the Jalur Gemilang at the SEA Games.

Jessica Ng shared: “Malaysia Power was our way of giving back to Malaysians who have supported us all these years. It celebrated unity, resilience, and national pride. Now, as our winners prepare to cheer in Bangkok, we wish them the most memorable experience of their lives.”

Lee Hui Seng added: “Athletes truly feel the difference when Malaysians show up. To our delegates — may your voices echo through the stadiums and lift our athletes’ spirits. This is your moment to shine alongside Team Malaysia.”

Looking Ahead to Bangkok

With the contest concluded, anticipation now builds for the upcoming trip. The winners and delegates will soon embark on their journey to Bangkok, carrying with them the hopes and spirit of Malaysians everywhere.
