Subang Jaya, December 10, 2025 – The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) today officially launched the Subang Jaya Half Marathon (SJHM) 2026 through a Sponsorship Handover and Press Conference, marking the start of the upcoming edition. Organized by MBSJ in collaboration with Puncak Ventures SRA Sdn. Bhd. and the Selangor Para Athletics Association, the event is supported by a wide range of strategic partners.
Scheduled for February 8, 2026 at Arena MBSJ, Subang Jaya, SJHM continues to stand as one of Selangor’s premier running events. The marathon aims to promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen sporting spirit, and foster community unity. This year’s edition will feature 10 race categories across the 21KM, 10KM, and 5KM distances, including open and senior divisions for men and women, alongside special categories such as the OSC Fun Run and Wheelchair Race.
MBSJ is targeting 4,500 runners for the 2026 edition, an increase from 3,109 participants in 2025. The total prize pool has been doubled to RM40,200, covering cash prizes across categories as well as lucky draws for participants.
Race kit collection will take place at Summit USJ Mall on February 6 and 7, 2026, with the shopping mall serving as the official venue partner. Meanwhile, the Orthopaedic Specialist Center (OSC) has been named the main sponsor for the 5KM category. Since 2020, OSC has consistently championed orthopedic services in Malaysia through community-focused initiatives and affordable, quality care. As the official sponsor, OSC continues its mission to promote mobility, joint health, and overall well-being in line with improving quality of life.
SJHM 2026 is made possible through the support of numerous strategic sponsors, including VRTIC (5KM main sponsor), 100PLUS (official apparel), Summit USJ Mall (venue partner), N8 Sports Nutrition (nutrition partner), Pacemakers Malaysia (pacer), RULe (endurance apparel), MAMEE-Double Decker (snack partner), Titijaya Land Berhad (strategic partner), and W Spine Chiropractic & Physiotherapy Center (strategic partner).
