Malaysia, 17 April 2025 — The Garmin Run Asia Series is back, continuing its mission to elevate the regional running scene with innovative race experiences and strong community engagement. In 2024, the series united nearly 100,000 runners across nine Asian regions, doubling participation and embracing the theme of “From Zero to Hero.”
Building on this momentum, Garmin Malaysia will kick off registration for the Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 - Malaysia at 12:00 midnight on 21 April 2025, bringing the event back to Dataran Putrajaya. Now in its fourth consecutive year, the race has evolved into a movement, inspiring runners from all walks of life to push their limits.
Following a massive turnout in 2024, Garmin Malaysia aims to take the experience to new heights with its signature 10KM and 21KM categories, along with an even more immersive atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking your first steps toward a serious commitment, this event is a celebration of endurance, perseverance, and community spirit.

Registration opens at 12:00 midnight on 21 April 2025, launching with a 72-hour sale featuring special entry fees starting at RM65 for the 10KM category.

Expanding Across Asia & Virtual Race Options
The Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 will extend its reach to ten regions, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Ahead of the main event in November, Garmin Malaysia will also host the Garmin Asia Virtual Run Challenge from June to August, allowing participants to complete their 10KM or 21KM races from anywhere.
Runners stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including Garmin products and exclusive sponsor rewards. The fastest runner per category will be awarded flight tickets and a coveted race slot for the Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 in Taipei.
