BURI SRIPHU HOTEL, Hat Yai: A Relaxing Retreat with a Touch of Thai Charm

Hat Yai, a vibrant city in southern Thailand, beckons travelers with its bustling markets, delicious street food, and rich cultural experiences. For my recent 3-night visit to Hat Yai, I stayed at the Buri Sriphu Hotel, a 4-star boutique hotel renowned for its unique blend of Lanna Contemporary and Modern Oriental design.

Located on Sripuwanart Road in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, Buri Sriphu Hotel seamlessly blends traditional Thai elements with modern comforts. The hotel's design philosophy is evident throughout, with the use of wood, silk, steel, and copper creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere.

A Comfortable Haven

The Superior King Room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with comfortable amenities. The inclusion of a bathtub was a delightful surprise, adding a touch of luxury to my stay.

Don't forget the bath bombs - The inclusion of a bathtub was a delightful surprise, adding a touch of luxury to my stay.

The provided shampoo and shower gel, delicately scented with unmistakable Thai fragrances, created a truly relaxing bathing experience.

Stay hydrated with complimentary bottled water, and enjoy the convenience of in-room tea and coffee making facilities. A delightful surprise was the inclusion of BOH Tea, a renowned Malaysian brand.

Please, please, please refrain from smoking, consuming durian or mangosteen, or partaking in any marijuana-related activities. :)

Rest and recharge. Plenty of plug points in the room. However, remember to bring your international adapters. 

A Culinary Delight

The daily buffet breakfast was a highlight. A delectable array of Thai dishes awaited me each morning, making breakfast a truly enjoyable experience. From savory stir-fries to sweet treats, the selection was diverse and flavourful.

 Mor Khao Mor Kaeng (Rice Pot, Curry Pot), the in-house restaurant, invites guests to experience the flavors of Thailand. Open daily from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM, breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and a diverse selection of Thai dishes and specialties are offered throughout the day.

Bread Section: Discover the unique Thai flavor of condensed milk as a delicious bread spread.

Not your usual breakfast topping! Uniquely Thai - millet, jelly, basil seeds etc.

My favourite - Kanom Jeen Namya (rice noodle with fish curry or Thai laksa)

Khao Man Gai - Chicken Rice is also my favourite from the breakfast buffet spread.

The hotel itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The relaxing pool area provided a welcome respite from the city's heat. The overall environment contributed significantly to a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
