My Selangor Story Day 5 : Haven is a Place on Earth

This is my official post for Part 5 of 6 blog series for My Selangor Story blogging competition organised by Tourism Selangor.

Our Day five started after breakfast at the Atrium, Pyramid Tower hotel.

Can you take a guess what or where this place is?

Is it some kind of hotel with bellboy?

Or is it an exclusive club house?

A kindergarten? LOL!?

We were actually visiting a hospital! Tropicana Medical Centre to be exact, which are the Official Medical Centre for My Selangor Story.

Tropicana Medical Centre (TMC) is the flagship hospital of TMC Life Sciences Berhad. Located in a prime alcove of Kota Damansara, this multi-disciplinary tertiary care centre is equipped with advanced medical technology and skilled medical personnel, complemented by a refreshing and aesthetically pleasing ambience, geared towards providing the best healthcare experience for our patients.

The 180-bedded medical centre is further empowered by a panel of over 50 commendable consultants from various specialties and sub-specialties, positioning TMC as a premium healthcare provider with the following Centres of Excellence like Fertility Centre, Women & Children Centre, Heart Centre, Diabetes & Kidney Centre, Imaging & Image Guided Surgery Centre and Aesthetic & Cosmetic Centre.

My first impression that it does not look, feel and smell like the traditional hospital at all. Everything has been well planned for the well-being and comfort of the patients.

We checked out the various facilities and ultra modern equipment they have at the medical centre.

Abang Ben, you won't be meeting Amy Winehouse here da....

Hmm....what room is this? A poster of Amber Chia on the wall. DVD player and TV with a single bed...

Oh my! It's the semen collection room for the fertility centre. Heheh! Amber must be very proud.

Alid is wondering where does baby come from...? :)

TV Selangor crew busy interviewing TMC's CEO, Mr. Francis Lim.

We headed back to Sunway City after the hospital visit. Honestly that was the first time I visited a hospital without having the intention of visiting someone sick or dying...LOL!

Some quick runwitme's travel tips to Tropicana Medical Centre

Lunch was served at Frames Cafe

As the name of the cafe suggests, the whole cafe is decorated with frames. FYI, the pictures in the frames are for sale too!

Next destination: Sunway Lagoon Theme Park.....

Funny T-shirt to be worn to the thrill rides. LOL!

FYI, Sunway Lagoon is consist of 5 parks - Water Park, Amusement Park, Scream Park, Xtreme Park and Wildlife Park, spanning over 88 acres of land. That is a lot of land to cover!

Since we had only a few hours to spend in Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, I decided to do all the thrill rides with the gang first and skipped the wet park.

The latest ride in town. Bungy jumping....Wheeeeeeeee! I will try it one of these days.

Flying Fox at the X'treme Park.

Another attraction in the park - flow rider or wave surfing simulator.

We were stuck in a massive jam in Ampang on our way to The look Out point.

Die hard blogger at work. Even when stuck in a jam, Sy managed to connect to the net thanks to free wifi from a McDonald Restaurant nearby. LOL!

More than meets the eye? Will I see Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee at the top? LOL!

Dinner was served at the Official Restaurant - HAVEN.

Mr. Anantharaj, the Big Kahuna of Haven welcome the Top 30 Bloggers of My Selangor Story.

The gorgeously KL Skyline from the restaurant. Click the pic to enlarge.

Lobster for dinner? Wow...We are really being spoilt in Haven.

My order came...Just one. The other one belongs to Sy.

Wow...The ribs are huge!

Our farewell dinner at 280m above sea level was made unforgettable by the splendid view and the heavenly food on our tables.

Razlan Saharudin - lead vocalist of One Night Service. Yup...that's the name of his band, giving us a one night serenades.

Burp! (Excuse me!) I finally managed to finish my ribs. There were no room left for the fries and salad, though.

What a wonderful evening! It was our last night touring together. I am sure I will be missing the whole bunch of camera-weilding bloggers...and the free food! LOL!

JUMPA LAGI....SEE YOU AGAIN.
