We had to wait Jaclyn to finish her interview with the press after the show for the photos, but we are glad that we did. Thanks Jac for being such a sport!
Jac would make a cute runner! Heheh!
Pinktober, Hard Rock’s campaign for breast cancer awareness presented Jaclyn Victor in a special showcase in support of Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia. Jaclyn Victor on 31 Oct 2010.
The soulful song-bird is always branded as a singer known for her rich, gospel-tinged performance, captivating vocals and remarkable voice. Her powerful vocals blew judges and the nation away that propelled her to win the inaugural Malaysian Idol and Ikon Malaysia.
But that night, Jac really rocked it with some amazing rock covers.
She did some crowd-pleasing pop numbers as well like Waka Waka, Just Dance, Poker Face, Impossible etc.
It was rock and pop all the way. Jac didn't venture into the her balled zone in the showcase except for her signature song, Gemilang was of course in the set list. No matter how many times I listen to it, it still gives me the goosebumps.
After the opening song, a Katy Perry medley (California Gurls/ Hot N Cold), Jac decided to take off her boots. She said, she had the tendency to fall on stage.
She performed barefooted throughout her show. LOL!
American Idol, Kelly Clarkson also performed barefooted during her concert here in Malaysia in April. Click HERE to see the pics.
Jac admiring the guitarist's shiny head. LOL!
It was a energy-fused show by one of the best vocalist in Malaysia, backed by the best musicians in the country for a great cause! What more can you ask for?
Jac nailed every song and rocked our socks off especially with explosive rock covers from Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Journey and Deep Purple!
Check out the LOL-moment before the song. Jac got a handsome guy from the audience to take off her boots. The stage was too slippery for her to prance around.
Jac rocked it, performing a cover of Alicia Keys feat Beyonce - Put It In a Love Song!
Check out the other best bits from the show HERE too!
'HANDSOME guy from the audience' eh?
