Walk For Children: 1 Malaysia Goes Green 2011 features a star-studded guests for the walk and also for the stage activities after the charity walkathon.
Meet the entertainment hosts: Farish Aziz and Lisa Surihani (who is also the ambassador for the walk).

Behind Lisa is Faizal Ismail, a Hot FM DJ. Is the T-shirt too tight or Faizal has a little bit more to show in the middle? LOL!
The Walk For Children: 1 Malaysia Goes Green 2011 is organised by the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) to raise fund for the disdvantaged youth in Malaysia. All the fund raised from the walk and the carnival will be donated to Shelter Home Malaysia and Rumah Kasih Sayang Rawang.
The patron's for this year's walkathon is YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, our PM's wife.
She flagged (gunned?) off the 5km and 3km walkers at 8:30am at Dataran Merdeka.
Lisa Surihani and Farish Aziz completed the 5km walk along with hundred over participants.
There is also a 1.8km category for the visually impared walkers.
The visually disabled walkers are guided by volunteers hand in hand. (Insert applause for the kind volunteers!)
After the walk, walkers got the chance to refuel with free Milo and Revive isotonic drink. Those who prefered Starbucks and hotdogs could also purchase them at the mobile counters where the proceed of the sale will go to charity.
1Malaysia goes green! Yay!

This is Matthias Gelber, voted the Greenest Person on Earth on the planet in 2008 kicking off a series of "Eco-inspiration Talk" to make the Earth a greener place to live.
Aishah Sinclair and Faizal Ismail delivering their green messages to the walkers.
Altimet performed "Syukur". Yes, we all need to be grateful or syukur and take care of our environment.
Aizat Amdan wowed the crowd with three songs including the award winning, Pergi/ I go.
Cat Farish walked our way to deliver two songs, Cinta Kosmik and Kerna Kamu (OST of Cuti-cuti Cinta)with the Fabulous Cats.
Say cheese "hijau" (green) for the camera! LOL!

Singer Farish crooning to three girls. Wow! We have a lots of Farishes in this morning. The emcee, Farish Aziz, Cat Farish of the Fabulous Cats and this new comer, Farish. :)
Caprice closed the event with four songs much to the delight of some young chicks present. Heheh!
Congrats to ISKL, the celebs, volunteers and all the walkers to made this walk a success. I forsee a bigger, better and greener, Walk For Children: 1 Malaysia Goes Green in 2012! What say you, ISKL? Heheh!

Hiya.. superb pictures..
I am from ATMAH Project a NGO that works with underprivileged children.. We brought in 24 kids with 4 facilitators that day..
Unfortunately our pictures were not as good.. and we had 3 winners in the 3km Male Category and 1 winner in the 5km Male category..
Would it be too much to ask for pictures of the group shots if you have them on high resolution.
